Traveling is scientifically proven to be good for health. BrownellTravel.com reveals that travel mitigates stress by providing a respite from the daily routine. A publication from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine says that travel helps mitigate the adverse effects of stress. The study, featuring 94 healthy female participants, found that resort vacations promote vitality and neutralize the immune system's reactions to stress. Stress is linked to the excess production of a hormone called cortisol that contributes to aging. Resort vacations can lower cortisol levels in the body. Traveling is also a passive way to exercise. Walking in the streets of a different city, hiking a mountain, and paddleboarding in the ocean are simple exercises associated with travel. Comments are closed.
